I read this the other day and found it very apt: “If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost. That is where they should be. Now put the foundation under them.” – Henry David Thoreau
Maybe it's a bit too verbose really to fit Miguel de Cervantes' observation: “An aphorism is a short sentence based on long experience”, but that doesn't lessen its value as food for thought.
There is nothing wrong with dreaming, as long as you don't stop at dreaming but strive to make the dreams come true -- that's what I've made out of it. Any more ideas?

But my aircastles doesn't need foundations :-) They only exist where I need them to be.
True - they can be quite an aesthetically pleasing view, all those castles hovering a few dozens of feet above the ground, right in the middle of where you need them to be.
And handy they're too: Gee, just pull a bit on the air string (or do I mean Air on the G string??) and they'll follow along...
But having a foundation really does make them a bit more hospitable, don't you think? Every now and then you might want to have one to live in, and how would you get in then? Fly up like a bloomin' crow? :-)
